Getting Ready at The Diplomat Beach Resort
The wedding morning began at The Diplomat Beach Resort, with the bride surrounded by beautiful bridal details and the anticipation of the celebration ahead. We photographed the wedding dress, shoes, jewelry, and other carefully selected details before moving into candid getting-ready moments and bridal portraits. The bright, modern atmosphere of The Diplomat created a beautiful contrast to the warm, romantic setting awaiting everyone later at Sardelli.
An Intimate Ceremony at Sardelli Italian Steakhouse
For the ceremony and reception, the celebration moved to Sardelli Italian Steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida. The entire space had been transformed for the wedding.Elegant floor-to-ceiling draping created an intimate atmosphere throughout the restaurant, while romantic florals, soft textures, warm tones, and an abundance of candlelight made the room feel incredibly inviting.Rather than simply decorating the venue, every element worked together around the couple’s wedding aesthetic. The draping softened the space, the florals added romance, and layers of glowing candles created that warm, intimate feeling reminiscent of an elegant Italian dinner celebration.
Bride Groom Portraits
For their bride and groom portraits, we created a beautiful balance between timeless romance and an editorial feel — incorporating the elegant surroundings, vintage car, and architecture while still allowing Pamela and Steven’s natural connection to come through. Some moments were gently directed, while others unfolded completely naturally, giving their portraits a sophisticated yet effortless feeling.
Romantic Italian-Inspired Wedding Reception
The reception continued the same intimate Italian-inspired atmosphere.Long tables surrounded by candlelight created a setting that felt less like a traditional ballroom reception and more like a beautiful Italian family celebration — sophisticated, warm, and centered around the people closest to the couple. Some of our favorite photographs from the evening weren’t posed at all. They were the quiet embraces between generations, emotional family interactions, laughter around the tables, and the bride and groom taking in the room together. These are the moments that make documentary wedding photography so meaningful.Alongside the candid storytelling, we incorporated editorial portraits and photographs of the carefully designed reception space, preserving not only how the wedding looked but also how it felt.
